Moneypennys was formed in 2000 by Nick Barnes and Graeme Wood.
Nick is the ex-Food & Beverage Manager and prior to that Food & Beverage Finance & Systems Manager at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest. Nick has been focused on the leisure and hospitality industry for the past twenty one years concentrating for much of that time on front and back office systems. He is widely recognised within the industry as an expert in this field.
Prior to his career with Center Parcs Nick worked as a self-employed retail and wholesale greengrocer. for a number of years before which he had a successful career with the now Booker Cash & Carry. Relevant qualifications include a Diploma in Business Studies, A Level Accounts and General Principles of English Law, Group and Craft Trainer. Being a Personal Licence holder, Nick has considerable knowledge of Licensing Law.
Graeme is the Commercial Operations Manager for the Sheffield Students’ Union.
Graeme has spent his working life in the leisure and hospitality industry. He worked his way up the managerial ladder at Center Parcs, managing different types of bar/restaurant operations. Graeme moved on to join Tom Cobleigh plc in July 1996 as Training Manager with specific responsibility for developing and co-ordinating the pre-opening training for 35 pubs. He has a wide knowledge of Licensing Law and his trade qualifications include BII National Licensees Certificate, Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate, Group & Craft Trainer and an Accredited Trainer for the BII Business Development Certificate.
Moneypennys can mobilise a team of sub-consultants, often at short notice, depending on the skills required by the client.
