Leading the way in database management

The Client

Center Parcs operates five villages in the UK, with 63 Food & Beverage outlets providing a vast range of menu choices and seasonal specials, updated and revised on a regular basis.

The Opportunity

We were contacted by Center Parcs who had to respond to new Food Standard Agency legislation which became law in December 2014. They were keen to be able to effectively communicate allergen information to their guests and staff alike. With circa six thousand individual food and beverage recipes the enormity of the task soon became evident.

What we did

Moneypennys devised a solution to collate and maintain allergen databases across the 63 operations.
We liaised with over 30 Food & Beverage and Retail suppliers in order to design and populate the databases and then incorporated a peer review process at every change to ensure data accuracy.

The Results

The scale of this project and the dedication provided by Moneypennys led us to be shortlisted for the prestigious Center Parcs Supplier of the Year award 2015.
